I'm Kent Groethe. I'm currently serving as pastor of Desert Rose Lutheran Church in Tempe, Arizona.
Bible Alive Ministries (BAM) exists in order to encourage spiritual renewal and development among Lutheran congregations and individuals through educational materials as well as original seminars and workshops.
About Bible Alive
Our Beginnings
In 1995, Pastor Kent Groethe started Bible Alive Ministries because of his desire to see more faith-inspiring materials
available to Lutheran individuals and congregations. Until 2004, he worked on writing various materials with a shoestring budget.
In 2004, a new board was selected and a fund-raising dinner held May 1. With the financial commitments from those who donated,
Bible Alive Ministries was able to move ahead with publishing its first resources and begin to market them to Lutheran congregations
around the United States.
Our Vision
The vision of Bible Alive Ministries is to help bring spiritual renewal and growth to Lutheran individuals and congregations through
relevant, dynamic workshops and seminars and also through printed materials. Originally, only Kent Groethe's workshops and materials
were featured on the BAM website, but we are now beginning to acquire and publish materials from gifted and creative individuals in
Lutheran churches around the country.
