Placing an Order FAQs

Bookstore Order Process

Bible Alive Ministries uses PayPal’s “shopping cart" system. You can put items into your cart or take them out at any time...just like using a shopping cart in a retail store. An "Add To Cart" button appears next to each item throughout the online store. Simply click the button to add an item to your cart.

Each time you add an item you will see a list of the items currently in your shopping cart. If you want to add more items, click the "Continue Shopping" button to go back to the online store. If you wish to order multiple copies of the same item, simply change the number in the quantity field and press the "Update Cart" button.

You can always view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking the "View Cart" button at the top of the page.

When you have finished selecting the items you wish to purchase, press the "Proceed to Checkout" button to advance to the payment and shipping area.

At the Review step of the checkout process, you will be asked to verify that your order information is correct before submitting the order. Once you are sure the order is correct, click the "submit" button. At this point, Bible Alive Ministries will attempt to pre-authorize the charge. This process is designed to better assist you with your order and to ensure that your order will not be later delayed by a billing error. You will not actually be charged at this step; Bible Alive Ministries only charges orders once the order actually ships. If this pre-authorization fails when you attempt to submit your order, you will get a billing error message that will prompt you to recheck your billing information or enter an alternate credit card. You will not be able to submit your order until there is a successful pre-authorization. Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation will also contain your Order ID number. You'll want to keep this information in your records, as it will help our Customer Support staff better assist you should you need to contact us.

Add or Remove Items

Click an "Add To Cart" button to add an item to your order. If you are viewing the list of items in your shopping cart, click the "Continue Shopping" button to find more merchandise.

Remove an item from your shopping cart by checking the "Remove" box next to the item and then clicking the "Update Cart" button. When the page refreshes, the item will be removed from your list.

Item Availability

Shipping timeframes range from 24 hours for in-stock items to 3-5 weeks for special order items. Advance Order items are shipped when they are released by the publisher.

We may discover that an item on your order is no longer available or will be out of stock for an extended time. At that point, we will ship the balance of your order and ask you to reorder the out of stock item in the future.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is collected on Bookstore orders shipped to Minnesota (MN). Minnesota requires sales tax to be applied to the entire order, including shipping and handling. Tax calculations are based on the destination address and may include city, county and state charges.

When placing an order we will quote you an estimated sales tax amount. The exact sales tax will not be calculated and charged until your order is processed to ship. Because tax laws may change between the time your order is placed and when your order is charged and shipped it is possible the tax amount will increase or decrease.

Connections Magazine Subscription Orders

Click on the arrow in the “Select One” box, select “Myself” or “Gift Subscription. For personal subscriptions, register your mailing and billing information in top portion of the online subscription form. For gift subscriptions, fill out both the top and bottom portions (your information for billing purposes and the recipient’s for shipping). Click Next.

Click the "Subscribe" button on the next page to advance to the PayPal payment information page. The subscription price includes tax and shipping.

Your credit card is not charged until you have completed ALL steps of the subscription process. Be sure to write down your order confirmation number for future reference.

Churches ordering multiple copies of Connections magazine to be shipped to one address, please email us at arlindat@gmail.com or phone 218.736.0662 to place your order. We will process your order and send you an invoice for payment.

Tax-Exempt Orders

Our tax exempt customers in Minnesota can easily place a tax exempt order by emailing us at arlindat@gmail.com. In your email, please include your tax exempt number and a phone number where we can reach you. You may also place a tax exempt order by calling 218.731.0662. Please have your tax exempt number ready when you phone. We will place your email or telephone order, and will send you an invoice for payment.

Bible Alive Ministries gladly accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for your online ordering convenience. If you would prefer to pay via check or money order, please mail your order request to Bible Alive Ministries, P.O. You can transmit your credit card information over the Internet with absolute confidence. Bible Alive Ministries processes orders through Paypal, a SSL Secure Commerce Server which utilizes the highest level of encryption to protect your credit card information, and all credit card information is encoded with strong encryption before storage. To further respect your privacy, Bible Alive Ministries does not release your credit card information or mailing address to any outside organizations.
